The Cupula
La Cupula is a small private art gallery on the second floor perfect for a cozy and romantic dinner for two. The Cupola's ceiling provided a charming highlight for a truly special dinner. Our staff is happy to organize flowers, candles and a private waiter.
La Cueva Lounge
The Lounge is the homey living room of La Cueva, with an antique bar brought over from Havana and overstuffed furniture, a comfortable spot for an evening of food, drink and music. The Lounge is a cozy and warm, centered around a huge stone fireplace and gleaming baby grand.
THE CAVE
La Cueva , The Cave, is the heart of Panza Verde. Designed after the Palacio de Capitanes, the former Antigua police station, the vaulted ceiling is from another era. Nestled between the pool, the Lounge and the Zen Courtyard, La Cueva provides a romantic setting for dining in front of the music stage. Hosting a baby grand piano and an impressive set of congas, local and international musicians frequently preform Jazz, Cuban, Classical, Latin and Folk/Rock. This location is ideal for a private party of 40. When conjoined with the Zen Courtyard up to 80 people.
Poolside dining is provided with 4 romantic tables for two. Listen to the music of La Cueva, yet have the intimacy of tranquil waterfront dining. The underwater lights dancing upon an ancient stone wall are sure to ignite the mysteries. Our staff is happy to set the stage of romance with special decorations of flower arrangement, a carpet of petals all illuminated by the glow of candles.
the Salon
La Sala is the main dining room of Panza Verde which can seat a private dinner party or conference for up to 40. The vaulted brick ceiling is from another time, designed after one of the colonial churches of Antigua. There is a large carved fireplace and intriguing art line the walls. Each chair is hand painted by a local artist. La Sala has it's own cozy adjoining bar with comfy overstuffed seating and another fireplace.
The Zen Garden
The Zen Courtyard is located to one side of La Cueva. Passing through three stone arches with beautiful doors of wrought iron and glass, this stone courtyard with a central fountain is generally set up as a cafe with 6 circular green marble tables and umbrellas. A perfect place to enjoy a meal alfresco listening to the sounds of running water and birds. This is also a beautiful venue for special events set up with an awning creating a magical private space for your celebration. Ideal for groups up to 40.
ART GALLERY
The Gallery, located at the top of a sweeping stone staircase, is home to our monthly art exhibits as well as daily classes of yoga . The Gallery can also be set up for a private dinner or conference seating up to 40 people. Projection machine is available.
Terrace Two
We have a second level of terraces that are a wonderful place to lounge in the sun and to have unobstructed views of the surrounding volcanoes. There is also a space with a table that you can reserve for special events.
Terrace One
The Terrace is located on the second floor and is a perfect venue for an alfresco cocktail party. There is an antique bar as well as a long stone street partially covered with an awning. The view of Volcano Agua is magnificent from the Terrace and often the sunsets at cocktail time are truly impressive.
Front Bar
A cozy bar with a wide selection of single malt whisky is one of the owners favorite places to sit back and relax with a nice glass of wine...
BLUE ROOM
A speakeasy feel this 'Blue Room' is an underground bar with views into the swimming pool. Live music, lounge, wine tasting and private VIP events.
